Ground Control Officers

Skydive the Beach is looking for fun, energetic and reliable staff to join our fast paced environment. We currently have casual positions for Ground Control Officers. The position includes harnessing customers, providing training for the customers’ skydives and providing assistance when tandems are landing at our drop zone. It also involves continuously monitoring changes in weather conditions and relaying those to our pilots and safety officers.

The successful applicant must be available to work weekends and public holidays, be flexible with regards to availability and meet the following criteria:

Selection Criteria/Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus and attention to customer needs and requirements
• Awareness and understanding of changes in weather conditions
• Self-motivated
• A team player and commitment to teamwork
• Current drivers licence and physical fitness a must
• Eagerness to work outdoors in various conditions
• Ability to work under pressure
• A bright, friendly and bubbly nature
• Knowledge of local area an advantage
• Previous skydiving experience an advantage

Direct Customer Service/Video Editing staff

Skydive the Beach is looking for fun, energetic and reliable staff to join our fast paced environment. We currently have casual positions available for Direct Customer Service and Video Editing Staff.

The successful applicant must be available to work weekends and public holidays, be flexible with regards to availability and meet the following criteria:

• Ability to work under pressure
• Previous cash handling experience
• Self motivated
• A team player and commitment to teamwork
• Current drivers licence a must
• A bright, friendly and bubbly nature
• Knowledge of local area an advantage
• Interest in video editing
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Mac iMovie an advantage, however training will be provided
