I am scared of heightsA fear of heights is a common phobia. Many of our customers, and even some skydivers, are not comfortable being close to the edge of a building or cliff. It sounds strange, but as the exit height is so far above the ground, the sensation of skydiving is very different to the feeling of vertigo. Our instructors are all friendly and experienced in dealing with nervous first time skydivers. Once your jump gets underway you will relax and wonder what you were worried about. Skydiving is a fantastic way of challenging your uncertainties and conquering your fears.
I am worried about the landingOn landing you are asked to lift up your legs while the instructor looks after the controls. This is practiced before the jump and again under canopy before you land. While there are risks involved in the sport they are minimised by strict safety practices, qualified and very experienced instructors, and the development of improved equipment over the last 20 years.
