The Farmer Wants a Wife Get your recorders ready folks...Skydive the Beach will be featured on the hit Channel 9 program "The Farmer Wants a Wife" next Monday 7th July at 8.30pm. Skydive the Beach was the venue for a group date for lucky farmer Rob, who took his dates tandem skydiving before having a champagne breakfast at the Lagoon Restaurant. Tour de Cure Fundraiser This year's Tour de Cure is a challenging bike ride from Melbourne to Sydney, raising funds and awareness for 3 vital Australian charities, Camp Quality, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Skydive the Beach is a proud supporter of the event and day nine of the Tour de Cure saw the team stop off at Skydive the Beach for a quick hello before heading up through the National Park to Sydney. Australian Record Set Over WollongongProving that age is absolutely no barrier, 8 skydivers over the age of 60 set a new Australian record on 1.4.08 at Stuart Park. NSW Seniors Week 6-13 April 2008The Department of Aging, Disability and Home Care facilitate NSW Seniors Week and this year Skydive the Beach got involved! To help promote this great week Skydive the Beach hosted a group of skydivers over 60 in a NSW Formation Record attempt. As well as this, three brave seniors did their first ever skydives on 19th Feb 2008 to help promote NSW Seniors Week, check out the photos of Joanna (69), Chris (60), and Bob (82) as they show the youngsters how its done!
