Booked this skydiving experience as a surprise for my friend's birthday and it surely did not disappoint. After checking in and being kitted out in a very humourous and inviting manner, we met our tandem masters Ollie and Cormac whom were both very vibrant and amazing people that knew how to have a good time. We hit the bus to head to the airport in good spirits along with our fellow jumpers. As we boarded the plane, it took us on an amazing flight which is full of amazing scenic views which MUST be experienced to fully appreciate. When the time was ready, green light to go, the jump began. Free falling with our tandem masters was amazing given their great skills and experience. The view going down is amazing as you drift down towards the ground (Won't say anymore because you have to experience it for yourself). Once we got to the ground, all we wanted to do was to get onto the next bus for another jump. The DVD and photo package is a must for first timers as you don't realise how um, 'awesome?' you look as you free fall.
Overall, it was an amazing experience for the both of us. Whether its a surprise gift, just in need of something different, Skydive the Beach Sydney sure knows how to make it work.
Definitely would recommend this to anyone, Mimi and I are definitely doing another jump in the near future.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff who worked last Saturday.
My partner of almost 8yrs proposed with a banner on the grass just after finishing a skydive with you. The staff were fantastic and Wade was especially great in keeping the secret on the way down as well as trying to calm me down after the unexpected shock that came from doing the skydive.

I wanted to do a skydive for my birthday and being a Wollongong local, went with Skydive the Beach. I had watched parachutes from my balcony for years, so now it was my turn! The experience was great, so glad I did it, it was so worthwhile, even considering the moments of terror and feeling faint. The staff at Skydive the Beach definitely contributed, every single one was friendly, professional and considerate of my needs, I can't praise them enough. My instructor, Andre, looked after me from beginning to end and was very reassuring. And the view is amazing!

I did my jump on 28 Feb 2013, a last minute decision. It's the best decision and experience ever. Being the first to jump was scary but once I was out of the plane, the feeling was awesome and the view was fantastic. Everyone has to experience this once in a lifetime. I want to do it time and again! My instructor took great care of me and made me really comfortable throughout. The DVD and photos are definitely worth getting. The filming is clear and steady while the pictures are beautiful.

I loved everything about the experience. Nothing compares to that exhilarating feeling of sitting on the edge of... the unknown - then charging through the air feeling the breeze over your body while trying to ascertain "How do I feel... I feel bloody great!!" and taking in your visual surroundings. Suddenly, it's quiet and calm and you're floating so peacefully down, where you really do take in the scenery and absorb what you're actually doing and feel blessed to be alive and able to do something so special. To then so elegantly descend on the earth with such grace, who knew it would be so fantastic?! Of course, you all do!! Thanks Cormac and Skydive the Beach for the ride of my life. Can't wait for the next one - I'm currently recruiting!

I have jumped twice now and I am totally addicted! I was given the first jump as a gift and thought my fear of heights would get in the way, but no... It was absolutely amazing! The guys are super friendly, and the whole experience something to do at least once in your life time!

Wow, what can I say? The feeling of free falling @ a speed of >200KM/hr and from 14, 000ft is utterly insane! I'm itching for my 2nd jump. Not only for another hit. But because the overall experience from everyone involved was amazing!

Check-in was speedy. Customer service at the front counter was great. Very friendly and helpful.

My skydiving buddy (instructor) made sure I understood the instructions: how I was to exit the plane, the free fall and the landing, etc. Very professional. I felt very comfortable. I could feel that he insist I have the time of my life and made sure that it was an unforgettable day.

Afterwards, the staff praised each of us and presented us with our certificate of achievements along with some vouchers that were sure to lure us back for more. But regardless of the vouchers and certificates, I assure you that you'll be back for another jump. The rush and the thrill of the free fall is exhilarating. Nothing can compare to it. You just need to book your 1st skydive to experience it for yourself!!

Back in September of this year I had my first jump, it was on a clear day and I could see for miles. I booked a 2nd jump with my Frequent Freefallers Voucher, and I took that jump last Sunday 2nd December 2012 with Max my Tandem Master.

The day was overcast, and when we got to height the cloud cover took over and I could no longer see land. Soon after, Max opened the door - time to move into position, legs over the side, head back. We got closer and closer to the edge and then we were free falling through the clouds - it was just the best!

Words cannot describe what it's like; YOU need to do it for yourself to fully understand. You guys at Skydive the Beach just rock. All I have to do is now save for my 3rd jump - once you have done it for the first time the Skydive bug will get you, and what a bug it is.

I experienced my 6th tandem on Sunday 18th November at Wollongong with a friend of mine who was extremely scared and stressed at the thought of doing her first tandem jump.

I would like to thank your very experienced staff and most definitely Kev, who reassured her and actually took her through the full experience to make the day the most memorable day of her life. I would also like to thank Kip who was my tandem diver for giving me the best skydive ever.

It certainly makes your day worth it when you have such friendly helpful staff and I would highly recommend Skydive the Beach to all my friends. I will certainly be back for my 7th go.

Words cannot adequately describe or do justice to what a totally sensational experience I had. From the time I stepped into the office to landing back on the ground, it was just awesome. If I could do that (or afford to do that), every day of the week I would.

Just wanted to thank you all for making my son’s day an ultimate day and for taking care of him. A very special thank you to my son’s instructor Tom for taking care of him from start to finish. A friend and I booked in for a skydiving experience and from the very start of the booking to the time we drove home; I can only offer high praise.

The girls in the office were efficient, friendly and encouraging, they dealt with our many questions and never once gave the impression that they were too busy or too important to deal with each one.

The boys that got us sorted out in pants and harnesses made a long waiting period fun and relaxing with their humour and high spirits.

But, the stars of the day were the instructors, not just ours but all of the instructors on the flight. The camaraderie that all these men shared made us feel safe, secure and we even managed to have a few laughs.

So lastly on to our instructors Paul and Kip. I will never be able to express correctly how very amazing these two men were. Even a few days later when the buzz has worn off I can honestly say that these two made a wonderful experience that so much better.

We laughed and joked and felt like old friends by the time we got to the falling out of an aeroplane bit. I never had a chance to feel nervous or terrified because of the way that these guys were. I am sure that I would have enjoyed the experience with any of the instructors, but Paul and Kip made it so much more rewarding.

I cannot wait till I skydive again and please pass on my gratitude and praise to your staff.

It was my first time and I want to say a massive thank you for an incredible and most memorable experience. Kip was absolutely fantastic. He has a great manner which allowed me to trust him completely and push through the nerves. Even when I had my hairy moments his calmness and confidence put me at ease immediately. This has given me an overwhelming sense of achievement. The whole experience from start to finish was filled with a mix of professionalism from the staff, fun, nerves, excitement, laughs, thrills and the beautiful scenery that Wollongong offers. I just want to express my gratitude for the experienced I had skydiving yesterday. You must get lots of positive feedback all the time but I thought it was worth mentioning that I think you guys do an amazing job. The instructor I had, Paul, was so professional that I was able to fully enjoy all of the jump, from launch to parachute landing. Also, I didn't comprehend the huge level of skill that was required in the photography work, until I got home and looked through the photos. They are top quality! There are so many good photos I don't know what to do with them all. I feel it was value for money.

"Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!" I can't write enough good things about my experience with Skydive The Beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which is definitely a plus point considering it was my first jump. The location was perfect, once the parachute opened and I could take it all in I was stunned by the beauty of the area. Being right next to the beach sets them apart, and i'm not sure jumping further inland would be even close in terms of scenery.

As a first time jumper, I have to admit I was a little nervous, but the staff were amazing and by the time we were at 14,000ft I wasn't even half as nervous as I thought i'd be. The instructors were hilarious and kept everyone laughing the whole time on the bus and plane. As much as $145 for photos and videos sounds, skydiving isn't something most people do all the time and I think it is totally worth it just to watch it back and have a laugh at yourself, and it's great for showing family/friends.

I would definitely recommend Skydive The Beach to anyone wanting to give skydiving a go. It was so much more than I thought it would be and I can't wait to go back and do it again.

I skydived in April 2011. Ever since my confidence has hit the roof. The following night I couldn’t sleep, I was laying there and could only see those views. Now I feel like I can do anything, there is no fear of falling whatsoever. To be honest I did feel scared to start with but the friendly instructor Kevin made it easy.

Thanks to all of you at Skydive the Beach. Thank you for making this such a big achievement. I feel 10 feet tall :D

Gewisse Erfahrungen sollte jeder Mensch einmal in seinem Leben machen und aus einem 4-km-hoch-fliegenden Flugzeug zu springen gehoert definitiv dazu! Ein Erlebnis, das ich wohl nie vergessen werde und falls doch, kann ich mir meinen Sprung immer wieder komplett auf DVD ansehen!

Alles beginnt eigentlich sehr entspannt, man trifft seine Freunde und weitere „todesmutige" Springer im Shuttle-Bus, der einen direkt aus der City von Sydney ins Sprunggebiet in den Sueden zum Strand von Wollongong bringt. Waehrend der Busfahrt reissen alle noch Witze ueber den Sprung, man versucht sich abzulenken, doch in dir selbst nagt die Gewissheit, dass etwas Grosses vor dir liegt. Wenn man den anderen in die Augen schaut, erkennt man dieselbe Nervositaet und Anspannung. In den Gebaeuden von „Skydive The Beach" erwarten einen bereits die netten Empfangsdamen und Trainer. Man bekommt seine Flugbekleidung (laessige Hosen) und wird in seinem Sprunggeschirr verschnuert. Die Stimmung ist locker und geloest, diese Leute wissen was sie tun! Danach kommen die Tandem-Springer dazu und jeder lernt seinen „Jump Instructor" kennen. Das ist also der Mensch, dem ich mein Leben anvertraue ... lustiger Typ! Ich rede hier von Greg, Vollblut-Australier! Da ich die DVD bestellt habe, hat Greg ein kleine HD-Kamera am Arm befestigt und macht sich einen Spass daraus mich in allen Situationen zu filmen (was nachher, wenn man den Film sieht wirklich witzig ist!). Nach dem Training und der Einfuehrung gehts dann los, die kleine Maschine ist schon abgehoben bevor man ueberhaupt richtig sitzt. Der Flug bis man die angestrebt Flughoehe von 14.000 ft erreicht soll eigentlich 20 Minuten dauern, es kommt mir eher vor wie 5 Minuten! Die Aussicht ist phaenomenal! Strahlender Sonnenschein und ein ueberragender Blick auf die fantastische Kuestenlinie von Wollongong mit wunderschoenen Straenden und Bergen. Die Spannung steigt! Die Tuer oeffnet sich, der erste Springer geht ueber Board! Wahnsinn! Der war ja sowas schnell unterm Flugzeug verschwunden waehrend seine Schreie vom tosenden Wind davongetragen werden! Grinsende Gesichter bei den „Tandem Instructors", fassungslose und nervoese bei den Springern! Ich bin dran, wir kriechen zur Tuer, meine Beine Baumeln 4 km ueber der Erde ... 3, 2, 1 ... ein Adrenalin-Kick, wie ich ihn noch nie zuvor gespuert habe durchfaehrt meinen Koerper, eine Minute freier Fall, der Kick raubt mir den Atem, ich schreie wie ein kleines Maedchen. Ein unglaubliches Gefuehl, besser als jede Droge!
Der Fallschirm oeffnet sich und mit einem sanftem Ruck herrscht auf einmal ploetzliche Stille. Ein Blick nach oben entbloesst einen grinsenden Greg und , GOTTSEIDANK, einen voll entfalteten Fallschirm! Nach dem Rausch des freien Falls nun entspanntes dahingleiten und die spektakulaere Aussicht geniessen. Greg laesst mich eine Weile die Leinen halten und ich darf den Flug steuern. Nach ein paar gefaehrlichen Spiralen uebernimmt er dann wieder und wir setzen zur lockeren Landung an ... das wars, ich bin total happy, Glueckshormone durchfluten mich, Greg bekommt seine ueberfaellige Umarmung aufgedrueckt! Was fuer ein Erlebnis! Um mich herum landen die anderen, egal wo ich hinschaue, ueberall strahlende Gesichter!
Raus aus den Klamotten und zurueck zum Absprungcenter! Man fuehl ich mich gut! 30 Mitunten spaeter ist mein Video fertig geschnitten und wir schauen uns gemeinsam die DVD's an! Jeder lacht ueber jeden, denn es stellt sich heraus, dass man wirklich witzig anzuschauen ist, waehrend man aus einem Flugzeug springt. Eine einmalige Erinnerung, ich kanns kaum erwarten, den Film meinen Freunden zu zeigen!

Op 22 februari j.l. heb ik de prachtige ervaring mogen meemaken om te gaan Skydiven. Dankzij BBM kreeg ik deze kans aangeboden om dit samen met drie anderen een skydive te maken bij Skydive The Beach. Dankzij de goed regelde pick up service vanaf Central station hoefde we ons nergens druk om te maken. Na het invullen van alle benodigde papieren kregen we onze instructie voor de jump uit het vliegtuig.

Hierna volgde een ontmoeting met een instructeur. Na even voorstellen en een kort introductie filmpje gingen we het busje in op weg naar het vliegveld dat zo'n 20 minuten rijden bij. Het moment kwam nu toch wel dichtbij dat het eindelijk zo ver was dat we van 4 km hoogte uit een vliegtuig zouden springen. Aangekomen bij het vliegtuig was het tijd om de lucht in te gaan. Eindelijk! Het duurde nog 20 minuten voordat we de hoogte van 4 km zouden bereiken. In het vliegtuig werden we vastgekoppeld aan onze instructeur en die nam de procedure nog even door bij het verlaten van het vliegtuig. Benen naar achter, hoofd naar achter en heupen naar voren en gaan.

De minuten vlogen voorbij terwijl we nog van het uitzicht aan het genieten waren was het tijd om te springen. De eerste minuut van de sprong beland in je in de vrije val. Met een snelheid van 200 kilometer per uur daal je naar beneden. Na de minuut gaat de parachute open en kun je prachtig genieten van het uitzicht. De skydive zelf duurde ongeveer een kwartier maar voor je gevoel sta je weer op de grond voor je het weet en wil je gelijk nog een keer. De adrenaline giert door je lijf. Kortom iedereen die van een beetje ‘thrillseeking' houd, doe een skydive! Een aanrader voor iedereen is de DVD. Hiermee kun je je eigen dive terugzien en dat is echt te gaaf voor worden. Het was een onvergetelijke ervaring en ik wil Skydive The Beach.
